A bit about me

Hi, I'm Ellie

I work at Deliveroo, helping to improve the experience for riders as part of the Delivery team.

As a Product Designer, I focus on delivering projects that give our users functional, efficient and enjoyable experiences. I enjoy breaking down complex problems into actionable steps to deliver designs that delight users and help drive business growth.

Originally from the world of office management, I discovered product design while researching potential careers and realised it was a job that combined a lot of things I love: creativity, problem solving and understanding people. I completed a Professional Diploma in UX Design alongside my full time role at the time, and took on my first full time product design job in early 2023.

Nice! But what are you really like?

Originally from in Essex, I've been based in East London for the last 8 years. I like going to gigs, swimming and cooking fancy recipes.

I'm also a big fan of sewing as a way to get some time away from the screen. I even used to run my own business taking on seamstress work before becoming a product designer.
